Abstract
This work concerns about study of the lipids extracted into by-products of
octopus (Octopus cyanea) and squid (Sepioteuthis sp). The main objective of this study
isbeing to preserve the environment while seeking commercial values with the byproducts by the producing a lipid from the marine animals.
The Folch’s methodwas selected for the first time of this study. The total lipids
obtained (0.5%), were split on CLBP. The phospholipids thus obtained were studied on
CPG-SM and was studied on CPG-SM. The result presented thirty fatty acid for the
octopus by-products against about twenty fatty acid for that of squid. The by-products
of octopus and squid revealed a strong proportion of palmitic acid (C16:0), for a
respective value of 12% and 33 %, and stearic acid (C18:0) for an average of 12%. They
have also a significant quantity of AGPI (48% and 36%) which contain essential fatty
acids (ω3 and ω6) in variable quantity.
Theoil’s wastes of the extraction of the total lipids were transformed into flour
for a total v
