Abstract
In the purpose to evaluate the efficacy of the policy of the National park Masoala management. This is
the largest protected surface from the largest surface protected from Madagascar, and more particularly the
marine parcel. Bivalve communities were studied in three parcel: Tampolo, Ambodilaitry and Tanjona.
These 3 (parcels) were selected due to the river contributions (Antalavia, Anaravany….) which flows in bay
of Antongil (Tampolo), and the influence from the offshore water in connection with the dominant winds
(Tamjona). The third piece situates between the two. The measurement of parameters such as salinity,
turbidity and temperature permit to check this double influence. This study lasts six months from September
2004 to February 2005. The strategy of sampling is monthly. It was carried out in the 3 parcels and was
laminated by the habitats, which are included in the stations. The identification cards were realized to
